Chick Eggs – Free Pattern
Little cracked chick eggs. A Stash buster using small amounts of yarn.
This knitting pattern is for you to create and embellish little egg shapes. The chick eggs shown in the images include a bobble stitch for the wings you can knit the chicks with or without this (or have a go – I have included instructions for the bobble stitch.) The pattern includes colour changes for the crack in the egg if you are new to colourwork then just change to your second colour across the whole row. Finished size is approx. 5.5cm/2.25 inches high.
Embroider eyes or add little toy eyes, sew a beak and a loop on top – make it your own and if you knit a few for display make them different, I leave that to you – stash and time dependant as always. Whatever you do .. enjoy creating.
