This section is to show various finishing options for the recently published pattern, Crochet Christmas Robin.<\/p>\n

Depending on how much time you wanted to allocate into making the robins or your level of expertise, I wanted to show you different options so as not to be intimidated by the pattern and give them a go.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The yarn used was Sirdar Happy cotton, colours were – 761 Off White, 777 Brown, 774 Grey, 794 Yellow, 791 Red.<\/p>\n

Option 1<\/strong><\/em> – The first option is to make the robin without wings or a hat, it still looks good and definitely resembles a robin.\u00a0 Hang them as they are and be proud of your makes, this is probably the quickest option if you wanted to make alot of them.<\/p>\n

Option 2<\/strong> <\/em>– If you don’t like the idea of the white stitching and worry about the neatness, sew the belly with red yarn, still looks just as good.!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Option 3<\/strong><\/em> – My design shows one brown wing and one grey wing, use whatever you have in your stash.\u00a0 The image below shows the option with wings and no hat, still looking good !<\/p>\n

Option 4<\/strong><\/em> – If the crochet belly is fiddly for you or you want a quicker version sew on a piece of red felt instead – the image below shows red felt version with the hat..<\/p>\n

Because of the holes in crochet its perfect for threading ribbon\/thread through the hat to make a hanging ornament.<\/p>\n

Most of all enjoy making and have fun with them.<\/p>\n
